Cy-fair AAU Girls Basketball Club

Cy-Fair Athletics AAU Competitive Girls Basketball Club is a proud member of the Gulf Association and the Amateur Athletic Union.  The Gulf Association covers the southwest portion of Texas including Houston and surrounding communities.  The Cy-Fair AAU program was formed in 1997 to provide an ongoing, Elite quality program for girls ages 9 through high school to compete in basketball at the highest level.  Today, Cy-Fair is recognized as one of the most successful programs for girls' basketball in Houston, Texas and the United States.  

Cy-Fair Athletics is looking forward to our 2nd year of our prestigious affiliate partnership with NIKE, and thrilled about the growing relationship.  NIKE has affiliate relationships with only 24 AAU girls' basketball clubs in America and Cy-Fair Athletics is proud to be among the Elite 24 selected for this prestigious distinction.  We have truly established a Proud Tradition in Cy-Fair.   

Cy-Fair will host the NIKE Regional Skills Academy in Houston on May 30 through June 1, 2008.  Bringing together most of the ELITE players from Houston and the state of Texas.  We're honored to host such a high profile event that should be nothing short of spectacular.   

Our goal is to provide a program that can consistently compete on a national level and simultaneously provide fundamental excellence for as many girls as possible.  We have developed a training program using qualified coaches to improve both our coaches and players skills.  To meet this goal, we are structured to have multiple teams within each age group, with one of those teams consisting of the most elite players to compete on the national level.  Part of our mission is to position these girls for entry into junior high, and high school programs and possibly receive scholarships to Division I, II, III, NAIA and Jr. College programs.
